The Information, Science & Technology (IST) Department, Government of Sindh has conceived Domicile & PRC Automation Project under public private partnership (PPP) mode. The Domicile & PRC Automation Project will help share the Government of Sindh’s IT vision with the IT industry and the general public. The existing process of Domicile and PRC is paper-based and ipso facto lengthy, time consuming and cumbersome. The existing procedure is leading to unnecessary delays and inconvenience for the people.
The Domicile & PRC Automation Project shall have centralized database which will reside at central server system. The front-end software application with features of biometric system would be connected indefinitely with central database system. Therefore, the new automated system not only store data electronically but will be powered with authenticity checks to ensure transparency, error free and no duplication of domicile & PRC issuance.
The procurement process is underway to hire Consultants for transaction advisory.
